Arrive in Macon Ga on Monday for Georgia's International Cherry Blossom Festival. Macon has more than 350,000 magnificent flowering Yoshino cherry trees and is the Cherry Blossom Capital of the World. We will enjoy the southern hospitality of Macon and friends as they celebrate their cherry blossom festival. On Tuesday a step on tour guide will take us throughout Macon to view all the cherry blossoms and Old Southern plantations of the south.
Leave Macon Tuesday afternoon and arrive in Savannah the afternoon. You will have dinner and the evening will be on your own. On Wednesday we have a full day of tours such as visiting Tybee Island, boat tour, will have a tour guide to show us Savannah ( walking and bus tour) dinner at Paula Deen's Restaurant and then on your own. Thursday we have tour guide taking us to see most of the plantation homes and dinner. Friday afternoon we will head home.
