Macon, Ga and Savannah, GA
Arrive in Macon Ga on Monday for Georgia's International Cherry Blossom Festival. Macon has more than 350,000 magnificent flowering Yoshiko cherry trees and is the Cherry Blossom Capital of the World. We will enjoy the southern hospitality of Macon and friends as they celebrate their cherry blossom festival. On Tuesday a step on tour guide will take us throughout Macon to view all the cherry blossoms and Old Southern plantations of the south.
Leave Macon late Tuesday afternoon and arrive in Savannah that evening. You will have dinner and the evening will be on your own. On Wednesday we have a full day of tours such as visiting Tybee Island, boat tour, will have a tour guide to show us Savannah (walking and bus tour) dinner at Paula Deen's Restaurant and then on your own. Thursday we have tour guide taking us to see most of the plantation homes and dinner. Friday afternoon we will head home.

Big South Fork Train Ride and Lunch

                      Cumberland Falls State Park for Lunch                     
Come travel with Lane Tours to see the fall foliage and the outstanding natural feature of Cumberland Falls, known for the World Famous moonbow. The falls is 125 foot wide and has a 68 foot drop that showers the boulders that lie in the rocky gorge below.  The mist rising from the largest waterfall in Kentucky, creates a unique natural phenomenon that is not visible anywhere else in the Western Hemisphere.  The Moonbow can only be seen here on strongly moonlit nights.  Cumberland Fall has an easily accessible point where everything lines up at the correct angle which makes it easier to see the Moonbow.  It's sometimes called "Niagara of the South", "Little Niagara", even Moonbow Falls.  After taking the falls tour and enjoying the fall colors, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch at The Rowena Landing Restaurant which offers a panoramic view of scenic Lake Cumberland.

The convention has been moved from Louisville to Pigeon Forge, TN.  If you like Gospel Music, this is the best time to hear some of your favor singers.  Also a great time for shop just before the holiday and to end summer.  So let travel to Pigeon Forge for some relaxing and hear groups like: Allen Family, Booth Brothers, The Perry's, Collingsworth Family, Blackwood Brothers, Collingsworth Family, Guy Penrod, Gospel Harmony Boys and the Hoppers.  This is a very small list of people that will be performing on any given night.  Price depends on how many days or nights and shows that you would like see and stay.  Must call if you would like the schedule for which day or night that you want to go.

Why not go Northern part of the world to see the beautiful fall foliage.  We will make a stop in Mystic, Ct for a tour of the Old Mystic Village and Walk the Riverside.  As you walk upriver you'll come to Mystic Seaport, a museum of ships (including 'tall ships') and maritime artifacts, and a working shipyard (where the Charles W Morgan whaler is being restored). We go to Boston, Ma and have a step on Tour Guide to show us the most exciting parts and the Historical part of Boston then travel to Hyannis, MD.  Take a Ferry over to Martha's Vineyard to spend the day and back to Hyannis for the night. Also will travel to Bangor. ME.  There we will have a real Lobster Bake.  On way back will travel through New Hampshire and through the White Mountains and visit Vermont for some delicious Maple syrup.
